FUNCTION

B-CAM OPERATOR | EDITOR

What started as a kitchen transformation became a story about personality, anticipation and the joy of creating something new.

For Pimp my Kitchen with Ross Antony, I worked as B-Cam Operator and Editor, capturing the moments around the main action, spontaneous reactions, small details and the energy between Sally, Ross and everyone involved.

From turning an unused garage into the new heart of the home to the final reveal, my focus behind the B-Cam was to find the shots that make the story feel alive: the details during the transformation, genuine interactions and those unpredictable moments that can never be recreated.

In the edit, those moments became part of a fast, warm and entertaining narrative that follows the entire journey from construction and organisation to Ross and Paul experiencing their finished kitchen for the first time.

Projects like this remind me why I enjoy working both behind the camera and in the edit, capturing moments as they happen and later shaping them into a story that feels just as genuine as being there.
